In accordance with his/her own research interest, the student decides either for a bachelor's thesis in the field of linguistics or in the field of literature. The topics of bachelor’s theses are discussed in more detail within the seminar, where the basic methodological approach to the work on the bachelor’s thesis will also be presented. Guided and commented independent research work is conducted in two semesters. In the fifth semester as part of a Bachelor‘s seminar, and in the sixth semester mainly as individual consultations with a mentor and a potential co-mentor.
