- Overview of the most established approaches or theories in the Czech, Polish and Slovak linguistic tradition: getting to know the appropriate terminology, basic ideas and theoretical works.
- Overview of non-basic (eg semantics, lexicography, onomastics, etymology, etc.) and interdisciplinary (eg mathematical linguistics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, etc.) linguistic sciences and their application in the Czech, Polish and Slovak traditions.
- Informative knowledge about the most important manuals and achievements of these sciences in individual languages.
- Practical knowledge about selected scientific studies and projects and their results.
